Forbes Report: Jay-Z

-----According to the latest Forbes report, Jay-Z made $63 million in a 12 m0nth period between now and this time last year. This is a result of profits made from such ventures as 40/40, The Nets, Fela (the theatrical play), Blueprint 3, etc.
The reason I point this out is to say he couldn't possibly make that kind of money in this day and age of ONLY doing mixtapes, albums, and shows. Most of that money was made through some sort of business venture. Even though he's doing it on a bigger scale, you have to pay attention to whats really going on. He's forming businesses to gain greater financial wealth.
-----Whether you're a musician or not, you have to understand that you too have the opportunity to do something similar. What I mean is that even if you work at McDonald's you can save your money (or get a loan), do your homework, find something you can tolerate (which has potential to be lucrative) , and start a business part time. If you did your research well and chose an industry that offers a quick return, you should be making money from both your job & your business.
-----This is the SMART way to increase your income. This is the way the RICH get rich, which is by starting businesses. Learn how to start, run, manage, and grow a business. You might not make $63 mill, but like Jay-Z you'll be making WAY more money than your job could ever offer. No need of getting a second or third job and another RUDE boss!!!

Cookin'

I'm sure you've heard about this new dance called "Cookin". From what I understand, it's from a rapper called Lil' B. You're not gonna to catch me doing that anytime soon, but it's a slick lil' move. He also just did a mixtape with Soulja Boy called 'Pretty Boy Millionaires'. To me, this was nothing that I expected. These guys were having a little bit too much fun when putting this project together. It's like they got REALLY high, put on some beats, and made the mixtape. It sounds like amateur stuff, but for some strange reason. I enjoyed it. I had a really good laugh through out most of it, no disrespect.
I'm not trying to bash the mixtape at all. It basically sounds like 2 guys doing whatever they want regardless what the world thinks. You can download it @ DATPIFF.COM.

Lebron, Lebron, Lebron

I know I'm not the only one who thought that the way Lebron left Cleveland hangin like that was a little awkward. I mean, a press conference? Why keep the people of Cleveland in the dark up to the last minute? He had them people thinking they really had a chance. All kinds of youtube videos and so forth begging him to stay, even celebrities. People started burning jerseys out there!!! I'm not saying he HAD to stay, but if there was to be a departure, do it in such a way that you're still welcome home.
I don't have a problem with him, but I can't say the same for the owner of the Cav's. We'll see who's first to get a ring. Aight , until next time.
