Redskins vs. Eagles

...Come on Skins!!! Nuff said.

Jack Johnsons Federal bust!

-----On Friday 12, 2010 a prominent figure in the DMV has fallen from grace. The feds raided his home and office and have a recorded phone conversation of the wife telling him agents are at their home and him responding she should stuff the money in her bra. Federal agents found $76,000 in her underwear. He also told her to flush a $100,000 check down the toilet. The feds have been following Johnson since his early days in office.
-----I'm not going to say much more because of my disappointment. I just wanted to state the FACTS about the case.

KAT STACKS DEPORTATION (Karma's Real)

-----The girl ain't nothin' but trouble. She went around trashing the images of numerous rappers thinking she could keep going on untouched. She got slapped before, but still kept on with her antics. Y'all saw how she did Soulja Boy. One simple trip down south ended all that nonsense though. What goes around comes around! Watch the video for details.

Chamillionaire Talks Business (Throwback Footage)

-----Most rappers will NEVER have that one big hit. Some may get it and not know what to do next. Chamillionaire is somebody who has things figured out. He shows what a hustler does when he /she gets their big break.

Bobby Brown's son?

-----Pay close attention to this guy. Recognize him? Word is, that's Bobby Brown's son!

Kanye Apologized To Bush?????

-----Listen to this guys response (5 years later) to Kanye's comment that Bush doesn't like Blacks. I'm more surprised that Kanye apologized.

I'll Trade You Weezy For T.I.

-----The old excuse was that rappers were blessed with their careers because it kept them out of trouble. Traveling and keeping busy kept them out of the hood therefore keeping them away from the elements of their neighborhood that would be a negative influence. Clearly, this is NOT the case! With the current trend of rappers going back and forth to jail just shows the public that if you're going to get in trouble, you're going to get in trouble. Case and point: It's almost like an even exchange how the system literally swapped T.I. for Lil' Wayne.
-----One thing everybody must realize is that if trouble seems to follow you then maybe you might be your own problem. T.I.'s gun & drug bust, Wayne's gun charge were ALL their own doing. Nobody set them up! Guns & Drugs seem to be 2 of the biggest causes for most rap artists' arrests. This is why organizations like the Hip Hop Police exist. We make it TOO EASY for them. My advice: always ask yourself, "Is what I'm doing worth it?"

M.C. Hammer vs. Jay-Z?!?!?!?!

-----Can you believe this one?!? It came out of left field! Hammer, I mean, King Hammer just went in on Jay about how he believes Jay-Z worships the devil. To go as far as doing a song and video seemed really out of character for Hammer. He always struck me as a humble and positive guy. In the song he's talking about running up on Jay and punching him in the face!
-----What makes things worse is that in an interview Jay-Z says that the line a the song that he mentioned Hammer wasn't even intended to be an insult. As a matter of fact, he even mentions that in his new book, he speaks highly of Hammer. He also said Hammer will be embarrassed when the book is released because it make this whole diss project look even more misguided.

Soulja Boy & 50 Cent XXL Cover Shoot!

If you didn't already know, 50 Cent & Soulja Boy are on the cover of XXL magazine. I'm glad to see they're doing this because I've heard Soulja say in a few prior interviews that 50 is one of his biggest inspirations. He's said besides 50's successful music career, he was equally impressed with his successful business ventures. You can tell how mush of an influence 50's career has been on Soulja Boy because you see him trying to do the same. Seeing them on the cover is almost like seeing big brother, little brother.
They craziest part is that when Soulja Boy started out over 3 years ago, EVERYBODY thought he was a one hit wonder for sure, myself included. Even Mr. Collipark (the guy that signed him)in an interview basically said he thought his lyrics and beats were trash. The two biggest things the helped Soulja Boy out was his strong internet presence, consistency, and STRONG belief in his own music. By sticking to this recipe, he's now doing ALL of what he set out to do and more.

One Man, One Mic Vol. 1

What's up people! How y'all been? I'm feelin' good today cause my first mixtape just dropped late last night titled, 'One Man, One Mic Vol. 1'. I've already got great feedback and want to thank everybody that's checked it out so far. You can get a free download from DatPiff.com, just type my name in the search bar.
I kept it short and to the point. The album is basically an exhibition of my lyrical talent , songwriting & freestyle skill. I engineered the mixtape (mixed & mastered), and designed the cover art myself. Even though I am a skilled producer, I was writing music way before I ever had access to REAL beat making equipment.
GET YOUR FREE COPY TODAY!!! Thanks for the support!

50 TYSON'S MUSIC VIDEO

I still can't believe it. I never thought that viral freestyle posting would go so far. They got T-shirts done for him and the whole 9. Fans in the mall showin' love; the video, "I ain't gonna lie" actually got over 3.8 million views on World Star. Make sure you donate a dollar and buy one of the shirts from the video. It's for a good cause.

Forbes Report: Jay-Z

-----According to the latest Forbes report, Jay-Z made $63 million in a 12 m0nth period between now and this time last year. This is a result of profits made from such ventures as 40/40, The Nets, Fela (the theatrical play), Blueprint 3, etc.
The reason I point this out is to say he couldn't possibly make that kind of money in this day and age of ONLY doing mixtapes, albums, and shows. Most of that money was made through some sort of business venture. Even though he's doing it on a bigger scale, you have to pay attention to whats really going on. He's forming businesses to gain greater financial wealth.
-----Whether you're a musician or not, you have to understand that you too have the opportunity to do something similar. What I mean is that even if you work at McDonald's you can save your money (or get a loan), do your homework, find something you can tolerate (which has potential to be lucrative) , and start a business part time. If you did your research well and chose an industry that offers a quick return, you should be making money from both your job & your business.
-----This is the SMART way to increase your income. This is the way the RICH get rich, which is by starting businesses. Learn how to start, run, manage, and grow a business. You might not make $63 mill, but like Jay-Z you'll be making WAY more money than your job could ever offer. No need of getting a second or third job and another RUDE boss!!!

Cookin'

I'm sure you've heard about this new dance called "Cookin". From what I understand, it's from a rapper called Lil' B. You're not gonna to catch me doing that anytime soon, but it's a slick lil' move. He also just did a mixtape with Soulja Boy called 'Pretty Boy Millionaires'. To me, this was nothing that I expected. These guys were having a little bit too much fun when putting this project together. It's like they got REALLY high, put on some beats, and made the mixtape. It sounds like amateur stuff, but for some strange reason. I enjoyed it. I had a really good laugh through out most of it, no disrespect.
I'm not trying to bash the mixtape at all. It basically sounds like 2 guys doing whatever they want regardless what the world thinks. You can download it @ DATPIFF.COM.

Lebron, Lebron, Lebron

I know I'm not the only one who thought that the way Lebron left Cleveland hangin like that was a little awkward. I mean, a press conference? Why keep the people of Cleveland in the dark up to the last minute? He had them people thinking they really had a chance. All kinds of youtube videos and so forth begging him to stay, even celebrities. People started burning jerseys out there!!! I'm not saying he HAD to stay, but if there was to be a departure, do it in such a way that you're still welcome home.
I don't have a problem with him, but I can't say the same for the owner of the Cav's. We'll see who's first to get a ring. Aight , until next time.
